Seven Heavens

Life on the go ❤️

A little bit of you

A little bit of me

A little bit of us in all you see

Kintsugi king

Generations preserved

a Chalice Sacred and reserved

her bare hands held it

tried cleaning a bit

of the dirt and dust

a matter of faith and trust

It was a dear one to her kin

Fell, broken to bits; oh what a sin !

she held herself in pain

and what would she explain

a long desperate sigh

but she found a reply

gathered all the pieces big and small

spread them on a sheet in the hall

and joined each one prayerfully

like Kintsugi doers, she did it carefully

then used glitter to lend a new design

through the cracks it did refine

and renew the age old relic

then she took it to the priest real quick

urged him to render a prayer

of gratitude for the One who did Share

that Kintsugi with her that day

renewed the Chalice as he heard her pray

Now all Golden and more pleasing

She offered it to Her Kintsugi King

  1. I am grateful to be the first to comment on your bringing to life this ancient practice of bringing new life to that which is deemed broken, shattered and even disposable. Yet, like the practice of reconciliation and – let’s take it a step further – restorative justice, new life CAN be infused into that which others fail to see value. Thank you, Celina, for reminding us of this compelling and compassionate lesson!

  2. What a joy it is to read your comment here and you being the first makes it way more special GM, Yes!! you have brought much life to my little post by using the term “restorative justice” also a place to urge God for continuing Loving us, Living in us and showering us with His Mercy now and forever.

Kintsugi- Golden Repair, and who else can be a Master in Kintsugi than God Our Father!

Thank you so much dear GM
Peace be with you always 🕊️
