Everyday is a choice to be kind

every wound needs love to bind

A heart that deeply feels

is purely a balm that only heals

Random acts coated with intention

and nothing to one’s own; none to mention

A gentle hand, a felt “how are you?”

Could make a weary soul feel fresh and new

Drive them to the hospital or the airport

stay beside when the world fails as a support

or a stranger be lead through a busy street

Being kind is class, should be on repeat

I do it all not random but a choice

Intentions that have a louder voice

Yet I’m just a “too much”

Folks and people say such

I tell them “Yes! I am more than what you think”

My blood has the colour of a Great Lovers ink

May every soul receive His Loving touch

The one who died on the Cross and that truly was too much !
