🤗 Embrace me again, for I “missed the mark”. With missing the mark being an often used image for “sin”, your poem reminds a reader like me of the Parable of the Prodigal Son. We are blessed to be loved by a God who embraces us when we are wilted and weak. We receive the amazing gift of God’s grace especially when we are wilted and weak. And it’s when we are wilted and weak that we need to look towards the compassion of God who knows US, understands US and loves US unconditionally. Peace 🕊️
One of my favourite parables!! You’ve rightly spoken of God’s merciful love that indeed is His Name – Mercy. He does carry us in our weakness and cares for us the most in times are testing and the waters are harsh ! Thank you GM for stopping by, reading and commenting here. This means a lot !
Peace ☮️

There’s a truth in that feeling—wilted not because you’re empty, but because you’ve given so deeply. It doesn’t need rescue or cheerfulness. It needs acknowledgment.
Sometimes the most healing word is the simplest one: I see you. Thank you for speaking it with softness, so the heart can rest long enough to gently mend.
You are so right ! “I see you”- the feeling of being seen, not just invited but welcomed is one such feeling that most mankind is robbed of. I wish people do understand the value of acknowledging the selfless work and love given and shared by so many out there.
Thank you for resonating with my feelings and sharing your thoughts on the same ! Means a lot ❤️
